What you’ll do

As a Software Engineer: Release Manager, you will be part of the Resiliency Organization responsible for building and maintaining the platform that powers safe, reliable, and automated deployments across Cloudflare.

You will join the team and help shape the future of deployment automation and release safety.

The Release Manager platform orchestrates progressive deployments, supports health-mediated rollouts, and automates release workflows at scale.

Our mission is to make deployments seamless, predictable, and observable for all engineering teams across Cloudflare, enabling fast, safe delivery of changes to production and improving the reliability of Cloudflare’s global network.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience on meaningfully complex systems.
  
  
• Experience building both backend systems and frontend widgets.
  
  
• Ability to contribute to planning, development, and execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.
  
  
• Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, and methodologies.
  
  
• Comfortable working on projects with tight deadlines and short release cycles.
  
  
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.
  
  

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

For Washington D.C. based hires: estimated annual salary of $154,000 - 188,000.

This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
