QA Testing & Client Support for SaaS – Frontline Data Solutions

Frontline Data Solutions provides web-based environmental, health, and safety software to some of the world's leading chemical, oil & gas, and manufacturing companies.

The company is fully distributed and all roles, including this one, can be performed from any location within the United States.

Pay range

$20,000.00/yr – $24,500.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience; discuss with recruiter).

Job overview

As a Quality Assurance (QA) team member, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of our EHS software.

You will be responsible for identifying bugs, testing new features, and collaborating with developers and support staff to maintain high product standards.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically from the end-user’s perspective.

The right candidate will have the technical aptitude to understand complex systems and the communication skills to clearly document issues and lead user testing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance testing on bug fixes and feature releases.

  • Document QA test findings and communicate with software developers.

  • Support existing customers over the phone and email on technical issues.

  • Maintain and update documentation in the online help system.

  • Be a critical member of the engineering team and become an expert in several web-based software products.

Ideal profile & skills

  • Mandatory: Experience with automated testing, especially with Microsoft Playwright.

  • Mandatory: Experience writing manual test cases; experience writing automated test cases.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  • 3+ years’ experience in providing client support for a technical product, preferably enterprise software.

  • Experience supporting third‑party enterprise software (not general IT help desk support).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
